Aya will linger for a day to make sure that everyone around her has had time to get to Nevei (you can take the cop off the force, but not the cop out of the lady). She'll follow after 24 hours, having secured a small, single-person cabin with an attached kitchen and bathroom. She's more than capable of cooking, but since she's a little lonely, she'll be found sitting alone at the diners. She doesn't seem opposed to company, though, if the way she occasionally glances around at the decor and smiles indicates anything.
▶FIRALIA EVE BALL
Aya arrives dressed in a dark blue chiffon dress, hemmed just above her ankles, with a deep lace backing, a silver wrap, and heels. It doesn't do much to make her just under 5'3 frame any taller, though.
Though she arrived with a date, and is generally a little shy, she seems to be pushing herself to be social. She walks up to several characters and smiles, even if it's a bit awkward, and offers a hand.
"Care to dance?"
She also lingers by the food table, nibbling on various plates. She doesn't seem to be going for any of the alcohol, though. And, of course, if anyone unwitting wants to split a nut with her... that ought to result in a fun time for all involved.
▶TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT
Even Aya can't turn down a good skating rink. She'll gladly bundle up and take herself out onto the ice, avoiding the cracks with ease, if not concern.
And while it takes her a moment to balance, she doesn't seem to have much problems staying so. She's also definitely the warmest person out here, if someone runs into her.

Jill's decided to stay behind as well, naturally. No matter how good-natured, forced, or stuck the Prismals were with people like herself, Jill was never one to see things at the surface. You just scratch it and plans unravel; there's rarely an exception to this and perhaps nothing fruitful will come of staying behind in a frozen hellscape, but what other options are there? How often is there the opportunity to look through the city without it being bustling, even at the darkest hours?
It's an opportunity she can't waste. She's decked out like someone who has experienced this kind of devastating cold and helping those that seem stuck along the way, but she's noticed others have similar thoughts to her. Whether it's to help or to snoop doesn't matter, they're kindred spirits. Upon catching someone else in the distance, she shouts because the wall of falling snow will muffle her voice, but it should reach ahead of her to the blur of a body.
"Hey, everything alright over there? Do you need help?"
Aya has a healthy dose of skepticism regarding the safety plans, but she doesn't have much of a choice to disbelieve it at the moment. Staying behind is old habits to make sure those in need go before those who are able to wait; it's part of what finds her out on the street, looking around for people who haven't left yet.
She turns when Jill calls out to her. She's not dressed like someone prepared for the weather - simply in a jean jacket, a sweater and her boots and jeans, the ensemble completed with a scarf - but she also doesn't seem to be suffering any ill effects for it.
Her breath puffs out in front of her as she turns and lets out a little huff of a sigh, waving an ungloved hand at Jill as she moves closer.
"No, I'm fine! Are you okay? Here - lets get out of the worst of it."
"Getting out" seems to be relative - she just moves them under a storefront that's further back, giving them respite from the falling snow.
Jill notices her way of dress and though she's not shivering or shaking, she starts to figure out a plan if she is. Jill can survive a while without hers and surely there's somewhere they can dip into that'll shield them from the cold even if it's just a grocery store... but she's getting ahead of herself.
"Oh, I'm fine." Her response is calm, but loud. Quieter as she parts the distance with a certain amount of relief painting her face. "You sure you're alright? You're not exactly dressed for the occasion."
Her voice is softer now that she's not shouting and despite the way she's lead, Jill still stands directly behind her to take the wind to her back.
Aya has a moment when she seems a bit confused before she realizes that yes - you usually bundle up a bit more for the weather. Then she has an embarrassed smile, waving a hand.
"Oh, no, I'll be good, promise. I run way warmer than normal."
She reaches out to take one of Jill's gloved hands - and indeed, even through the fabric, it's probably clear she's quite warm despite the cold.
"Any more clothes on than this and I'd probably be sweating through them. You out looking for others who stayed behind too?"
She tries redirecting the conversation so that (hopefully) Jill doesn't ask about why she runs so warm.
